Training

When your puppy or dog joins your family, you need to be aware that to the dog, he has joined a pack. From the time you bring your new puppy or dog home s/he is trying to learn where it fits into his or her new pack. This is where obedience comes in. In order for your dog to become obedient you must establish yourself as the Alpha Leader (Pack Leader). Our training classes will teach you how to accomplish this. It is very important for the owner to understand that a dog does not have the ability to reason as a Human Being does, So you must communicate with him or her in a way that s/he understands. We always train without pain. A Dog must not fear you to be obedient and loyal. There are three main goals in properly training a dog. These are focus, communication, and dominance but not of the physical nature. We always teach obedience in our classes with these principles in mind: Practice, Patience, Praise, Correction and Consistency. Below are descriptions of the classes we offer.
